I am staying true to my march goal of adding more core in! This is the ab workout I did after the  3 mile run. It was a tough one. My abs were burning. ( a good burn)! :) Now I just need to incorporate some more strength training!

I LOVE reading. So much so that my Fiancé built me a bookshelf! I don’t know if I’ve told you all that. I figured I would show you what  i’ve been reading lately.

This is the awesome bookshelf Bri made for our house!

I am about 1/4 way through Bonhoeffer. It is so good already! Eric Metaxas tells the story of the pastor, martyr, prophet, and spy, Dietrich Bonhoeffer with great passion. I have really enjoyed reading this so far and I think it is only going to get better. I will do a book review once I finish!

I am almost done with God Strong. I read most if it on the flight to NYC last week. It is so encouraging especially because I am about to me a military wife. It explains how everyone has this idea that military wives have to be so strong when really our strength comes from the Lord, not ourselves. When we try to do it ourselves we fail. It is okay to be weak because His grace is sufficient for us… and His power is made perfect in our weaknesses ( 2 Cor. 12:9). Such a great book- I should be finished with it this week

Lastly, I am reading the Paleo Diet for Athletes. Check out what I’ve learned from this so far here.

Are you reading any good books right now?
